Kejriwal's Resignation
Arvind Kejriwal
has announced his resignation, did not resign today, said that he will resign
after two days, what is it after two days, 17th September, when Prime Minister
Narendra Modi will be in Gujarat and on that day his party will be celebrating
his birthday. Godi Media Birthday Must have been busy in preparing for the
coverage but by choosing that day of resignation, Kejriwal announced the
resignation party, the biggest party in politics, in front of the birthday
party. Even
today in Indian
politics, resignation has its own moral importance, its power, many times,
mandates and conspiracies. But it outweighs Modi's mastery over the politics of
timing. He used to suddenly appear on TV during prime time, announce
demonetization or lockdown. All this was considered a part of his strategy, but
now this formula is also Why did it become useless? Because the announcement of
the decision created an atmosphere and big headlines were published but after a
few days the public saw that those
decisions had no
effect, their effect has turned into dust, just like BJP is now talking about
demonetization. Arvind Kejriwal does not talk about benefits. He said that
elections should be held in Delhi along with Jharkhand and Maharashtra.
However, elections will be held in February. But he also said that the new
leader will be elected in the legislative party meeting and that new leader
will not be Manish Sisodia.
Maybe Manish
Sisodia has also refused to take the post and has announced to choose the path
of struggle. The harshest law of this country is the ED law PMLA in which even
bail is not available and it is difficult to get bail. These people have made
allegations, we got bail from the court, despite this, the situation as of
today, the court could not have done anything more than what the court has done
in our favor, we are very thankful to the court.
They gave us
bail, they could have given us even bail, now this case will go on, I asked the
lawyers, I said, my heart tells me that I will not sit on the CM's chair until
I get acquitted from the court, he said yes, 10 The case will go on for a year,
some are saying that the case will go on for 15 years, some are saying that the
case will go on for 20 years, the case will go on for a long time, today the
court has done as much as it could, the court has taken a decision in our
favor, they have given us bail, they have given us bail under
such a law in
which bail is not allowed. It is impossible, he granted bail. Today I have come
to your court, I have come to the people's court, I have come to ask you
whether you consider Kejriwal to be honest or guilty [music] I want to ask the
people of Delhi. I want to ask the people of the country whether Kejriwal is
honest that he is a criminal [Praise] Friends, after two days from today, I am
going to resign from the chair of CM [Praise] and till then I will remain on
the chair of CM.
I will not sit
till the public gives its verdict, I will go among the people, I will go to
every street, I will go from house to house and till the public gives its
verdict that Kejriwal is honest, I will not sit on the CM's chair [praise]
There is an election in a few months from today in the Delhi election. I want
to request the public, I want to appeal.
If you think
Kejriwal is honest, vote in my favor. If you think Kejriwal is a criminal,
don't vote for me. If you think Kejriwal is honest, don't vote for me. Every
vote of yours will be a certificate of my honesty. If you win by voting for me
and if you say that Kejriwal is honest, then after the elections, after that I
will sit on the CM's chair, till then I will not sit on the CM's chair.
17 September is
becoming an interesting day in Indian politics. You remember that on this very
day the unemployed people tweeted lakhs and changed 17th September to
'Unemployed December'. In the month of June, when Kejriwal came out of jail to
campaign for the Lok Sabha elections, he Gave a big statement regarding 17th
September, gave such a statement that BJP had to immediately hold a press
conference and give clarification and that too half the clarification was given
only about Narendra Modi,
clarification
was given about Yogi Adityanath later, on that day Arvind Kejriwal said Given
that Modi will step down when he turns 75 next year and Amit Shah will become
the PM, hence he is actually asking for votes not for himself but to make Amit
Shah the Prime Minister. Here also see the game of destiny when Modi is
celebrating his birthday.
Kejriwal may
have been resigning and leaving power on the same 17th September, but that was
an extraordinary statement in Kejriwal's political life which created a storm.
Let us remember it today. Now Modi ji is going to retire on 17th September next
year, so I would like to ask BJP. I want, who is your Prime Ministerial
candidate? Friends, if their government is formed by 17th September next year,
then I will come to that also.
If their
government is formed, then first I will deal with Yogi ji in the next two
months and then after that I will deal with Modi ji 's best friend Amit Shah.
If I make the Prime Minister, I want to warn the people of the country that
Modi ji is not asking for votes for himself. Modi ji is asking for votes to
make Amit Shah the Prime Minister.
I want to ask
Modi ji and Amit Shah ji about this. Who will fulfill the guarantee? Will Amit
Shah fulfill Modi's guarantee? Who will be the next Chief Minister of Delhi?
Many names are being discussed: Atishi Singh Gopal Rai or Kailash Gautam.
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the party wants Kejriwal to become the Chief
Minister again.
07:20
Vote, prove
yourself honest and become the Chief Minister. Such discussions will continue
but the importance of this resignation is that by resigning, he has turned
Sunday into Monday. Arvind Kejriwal is now going to choose the path of street
politics. By resigning, he has removed himself from power. Brought into the
camp of Central Investigation Agencies and Godi Media, repression has been
going on for a long time, an atmosphere of fear has been created, but now being
in the opposition is becoming meaningful in politics.
Those who felt
that due to fear, they changed the party and joined the Modi government. They
become ministers, get settled, become safe and make their fortunes because this
is the times and this is what will happen in this country from now on. They too
must have started seeing that slowly but surely this times is changing to save
their necks.
The fashion of
choosing the path to remain in power with BJP seems to be getting old. Coming
out on the streets and becoming the leader of the opposition, its political
phase seems to be in full swing these days. Rahul Gandhi gave the slogan of
'Don't be afraid' in October 2022. His membership of Parliament was snatched
away.
She was thrown
out of her house, but by going on a padyatra, Rahul Gandhi freed himself from
the clutches of media and investigative agencies. Aam Aadmi Party faced an even
worse vicious circle, many times the attack on its leaders was attacked. In the
news or in the analysis, it was told as if it was a matter of a pinch and this
party will break, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia will be separated, the
party of these two people will be saved but in the end what is seen is that the
common man The party did not disintegrate, even after Kejriwal and Sisodia
went to jail,
this party did not disintegrate like Shiv Sena or NCP in Maharashtra or the
Congress led by Kamal Nath in Madhya Pradesh. Record of Mamata Banerjee, Hemant
Soren and Kejriwal in saving their party and government. They are much
stronger. Many of their ministers were attacked by the agencies. Even the
Governor was appointed.
The Supreme
Court criticized the Governors but even then these regional parties remained
alive. Aam Aadmi Party and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha did not break even after all
the pressures from BJP. Why did these people send me to jail? It is not that
Kejriwal did any corruption. They also know it. I also know it.
You also know
why they sent me to jail. Their aim was to break the Aam Aadmi Party. Their aim
was to break Kejriwal's morale. To break Kejriwal's courage, he has made a
formula, you see how break the MLA, buy the MLA, scare him by sending ED, scare
him by sending CBI, file a fake case, put him in jail, break the party, how he
did it in Maharashtra.
They broke the
national parties, break the party, topple the governments and form their own
government. They felt that if they send Kejriwal to jail, their party will
break in Delhi. They felt that by breaking the Punjab government, they will
form the BJP government in Delhi. We will form our government, we will break
their MLAs, but our party is not broken, our MLAs are not broken, leave alone
our MLAs, even the workers are not broken, against their big conspiracies, only
the Aam Aadmi Party has the strength to face them today.
They thought
that they would break Kejriwal's courage. Today I am standing in front of you
and I am saying with full confidence that these 150-200 days that I spent in
jail have increased my courage 100 times more. Instead of reducing it, this
resignation of Kejriwal is quite different from all the resignations in Indian
politics.
It can
overshadow even those resignations whose demand was rejected by the Modi
government. Prime Minister Modi never allowed this moral power to be used.
Train in Odisha More than 250 people died in the accident. There was a demand
for the resignation of the Railway Minister. The Prime Minister became silent.
Railway
accidents continued to happen. The Prime Minister remained silent. Women
wrestlers accused Brij Bhushan Singh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi remained
silent. The condition of Manipur is bad. Demand for removal of the Chief
Minister. It happens that the Prime Minister remained silent, no one took moral
responsibility for the condition of Manipur.
From Adani cases
to SEBI Chief Madhavi Buj, many allegations were made. The Prime Minister
remained silent. The Finance Minister did not take any moral responsibility.
Rajnath Singh had said that there is no resignation in our country. It happens
that in the storm of anti-Muslim politics, Modi must have felt that all the
tricks and tactics of politics and morality have now become useless, politics
of morality has turned into ruins and Narendra Modi's decision is a decision,
his silence is also a decision, Modi himself. Started considering Kejriwal
above all kinds
of moral questions and in the end even said that God has sent him. Kejriwal has
announced his resignation. BJP, which is running away from the politics of
morality, has been cornered at the crossroads. These people ask that when
Kejriwal is in jail. Why didn't he resign? Why didn't he resign? Why didn't he
resign from the post of CM? I didn't resign because I wanted to save the
democracy of the country.
They have made
so many formulas, break the MLAs, break the parties, buy the MLAs, scare them.
Now there is a formula and they have created a new one, wherever he loses the
election, file a fake case against the Chief Minister of that place and arrest
him and topple his government. If I would have resigned, if Hemant Suren sir
had resigned, I would have also resigned.
They have also
filed a case against Sitara Maiya, they have also filed a case against Pinara
Vision, they have filed a case against Mamta Didi, they do not spare even one
Chief Minister of the opposition, they arrest each one of them and jail them by
filing fake cases. I went to jail just 10 days ago.
A bench of the
Supreme Court asked the government why the government cannot be run from inside
the jail. You people read in the newspaper that the Supreme Court has asked the
Central Government. Why can't the government be run from inside the jail, then we
have proved the government from inside the jail, now I want to request with
folded hands all the non-BJP Chief Ministers of the country, now if the Prime
Minister dares to file a fake case against you, put you in jail.
Do not resign,
do not resign under any circumstances, run the government from jail, it is not
that we are greedy for the post, it is not that the post of Chief Minister is
important for us, because our constitution is important for us, our country is
important, democracy is important.
It is necessary
to save the government that won with such a huge majority, once it got 67 seats
out of 70, once it got 62 seats out of 70, and you will catch them and put them
in jail and ask them to resign. I want to request all the Chief Ministers with
folded hands today. This new formula of theirs was also failed by the Aam Aadmi
Party, who made a new formula - party zindabad struggle, the way you did, in
this 10 years of Modi government, opposition governments were broken, parties
were broken, Congress due to fear of investigation agencies. From this,
leaders of all
the parties ran away and entered BJP, a politics is going on, you all should
note it, you have come to know that the credibility of ED and CBI has been
questioned in the Supreme Court, now bail can be granted, whether in a month or
1777. Now the public is not going to be confused by their arrest after a month,
then once again terrible communal tension is being created in the opposition
governments.
Please note that
in the name of encroachment, religious buildings are being surrounded so that
the opposition governments there get trapped. Just as easily, cases are made
against the opposition Chief Ministers and Ministers, raids are conducted and
they are put in jail. You see, these agencies do not find a single minister or
leader in the BJP governments in these 10 years, while all the allegations are
made against Kejriwal ji.
If it is said
that he was in jail as a non-BJP Chief Minister, then I want to tell him that
only Hemant Soren and other Chief Ministers were not in jail before coming to
our government. Kejriwal ji says that he is a very educated person, so he has
some education. Have you forgotten in your memory, Madhu Kauda was in jail as
the Chief Minister of Jharkhand in 2008, Shibu Soren was in jail as the Chief
Minister of Jharkhand in 2006, Karunanidhi was the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu
in 2000 and Lalu Prasad Yadav of Bihar was in jail in 1997. He
was the Chief
Minister and was jailed and Jayalalitha ji was jailed in 1996, but none of them
at least behaved so morally that they resigned before going to jail. Kejriwal
ji, I have told that this is a game of going to jail. All of them were non-BJP
and were not our governments.
You joined the
club and series of Chief Ministers who went to jail on corruption charges, but
in that too you made a new record that by staying in jail, you set a new
example of greed for power. What did the court say before the country while
granting bail to Kejriwal? It told the CBI to come out of the notion of a caged
parrot. Let's see another game of destiny on 3rd July.
On this very 3rd
July, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reminded the opposition in the Rajya Sabha.
It was said that Ko had called CBI a caged parrot during his time. This was the
condition of CBI during the Congress era. During his time, the agencies have got
freedom and are conducting impartial investigation. After one and a half
months, the same Supreme Court put CBI in a cage.
I was asked to
come out of the image of a caged parrot, there was silence from the government
side, today I have brought a book with me, I have also read this many times,
Bhagat Singh's jail diary, you people have read it, read it, definitely buy it.
Buy and read this Bhagat Singh's Jail Diary When Bhagat Singh was in jail, 9095
years ago, he had written his articles inside the jail, that article is in this
and from inside the jail, he had written letters to many people outside.
He wrote letters
to the youth of the country. Last letter to comrades before sacrifice. 22 March
1931. He wrote this letter from jail and sent it to his comrades. Letter to
Batukeshwar Dutt's sister Promila. Letter to childhood friend Jaidev Gupta.
Letter to the Viceroy, all these letters were delivered by the British to
Bhagat Singh, the letter written for the youth was read out in a youth
conference, 995 years after the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh, a revolutionary
Chief Minister of independent India went to jail, I have just now
I went to jail
and wrote only one letter to LG Sahib from jail. It was 15th August. It was the
Independence Day of the country. On the Independence Day of the country, the
Chief Minister of Delhi hoists the flag on behalf of Delhi Government. I wrote
a letter to LG Sahib three days ago on 15th August.
Three days
before that, LG Saheb, since I am in jail, Atishi ji should be allowed to hoist
the flag in my place, nothing wrong was written, that letter of mine was not
delivered to LG Saheb, the letter was returned to me and this warning has been
issued to me. I have also brought a warning that I will keep this with me
throughout my life.
I was given a
warning that if you dare to write a letter to LG Saheb for the second time, the
family meeting that happens with you every week will be stopped. [Praise] I I
was thinking in my mind that even the British had not thought that after 95
years in independent India, a more cruel and tyrannical ruler than the British
would come over this country.
Kejriwal had
brought the jail diary of Bhagat Singh. Kejriwal had called the Modi government
more cruel than the British. And where is the tyrannical government? When he
came on stage, the song Rangde Basanti Chola started playing and by showing
Bhagat Singh's jail diary, he tried to fit himself into the role of a
revolutionary.
Comparing
himself with Bhagat Singh and comparing Manish Sisodia with Batukeshwar Dutt.
That Batukeshwar Dutt and Bhagat Singh had thrown a bomb in the assembly or
everyone has heard that both of them were jailed, both of them were kept in the
same jail, they were kept in adjacent cells, this is what I am reading the
letter to you Bhagat Singh.
What he wrote to
Pramila, Batukeshwar Dutt's sister, last night Battu was sent to some other
jail, till then he was with them. This letter of Bhagat Singh is of 17th July
1930. Their separation is making me helpless. Bhagat Singh I am writing to the
sister of Batukeshwar Dutt that the separation from Batukeshwar Dutt is
becoming unbearable for me.
Today is the
first day when I am feeling completely disturbed and every minute has become a
burden for me. Being separated from a friend is really close to me. Batukeshwar
was more dear to me than my brother, so both of them lived together. After 95
years, Manish Sisodia and Kejriwal go to jail in the same case.
They keep Manish
Sisodia in a separate jail. They kept me in a separate jail and did not allow
them to meet each other. When the fight for caste freedom took place,
Jawaharlal Nehru went to jail, Mahatma Gandhi went to jail, Baba Saheb Ambedkar
went to jail, Chandrashekhar Azad went to jail, Ashfaq Ullah went to jail, how
many freedom fighters went to jail, many went to jail for many years, when he
used to go to jail to meet him, his comrades him.
His family
members used to go to meet him, his relatives used to go to meet him and when
he used to go to meet him, he used to talk to them politically, he used to talk
to them about how to uproot the British, when he used to go to meet them in
jail. When I was in jail, one day Sandeep Pathak came to meet me, I am also a
political man, he is also political, he is the organization minister of our
party, he came and talked about politics with me, what else would he have
talked about romantically, then the political man was the political man.
I asked him what
was going on in the country, he told me the political situation of the country,
I asked him what was going on in the party, he blacklisted Sandeep Pathak,
after that he was not allowed to meet me [Praise] went to Bhagat Singh when he
was hanged. They had not even dreamed of such an India that after 95 years from
now, such a cruel and tyrannical government will come into this country that it
will leave even the British behind.
Friends, Hemant
Soren, Sanjay Singh, Manish Sisodia, Arvind Kejriwal did not just get bail from
the Supreme Court. Rather, the way the court has commented on the investigating
agencies in their bail decisions, by law the minister under whom these agencies
are being run should have resigned. You remember what Justice Mukhopadhyay of
Jharkhand High Court said in Hemant Soren's case.
And how did the
Supreme Court approve the decision of the High Court? Justice Rangan
Mukhopadhyay of the Jharkhand High Court wrote in his decision that a case has
been made against Hemant Soren on the basis of very broad possibilities, which
means that this also It is possible that he may also have been arrested on this
type of basis whereas Justice Mukhopadhyay is saying that while looking at the
case it does not appear that Hemant was directly or in any other way involved
in the matter of purchase and ownership of 886 acres of land. There is not
even a glimpse
in any register or revenue record that Hemant Soren is involved in any way in
the purchase or ownership of this land. It is written in the judgment that in
2010, some people alleged that he had no concrete evidence. On the basis that
there was no basis, a case of PMLA money laundering was made.
None of the
people who are said to be displaced filed any complaint. ED ignored all these
things as per convenience. Arvind Kejriwal has resigned but Hemant Why am I
mentioning Soren's case? This is to tell that in what manner and on what basis
these leaders were put in jail and they themselves were protected.
Scare the
opposition, confuse the public, and create a situation by putting the media at
stake. Make an issue of one-sided corruption and save yourself from all the
failures and questions of accountability, that is why I mentioned Hemant
Soren's case that a Chief Minister was arrested so easily but Hemant Soren was
arrested before the Lok Sabha elections and after that When he came out of
jail, he became the Chief Minister and he exposed another game of BJP in his
party.
When Champai
Surendra started traveling to Delhi and separated from the party, today the
biggest challenge of every party is that it will survive. Or not, due to fear
of agencies, BJP has infiltrated into every party. Opposition alleges that
before the Lok Sabha elections, Mallikarjun Kharge had said that more than 400
MLAs have changed sides.
Unexpectedly,
today they left ED, left Income Tax, so many left Delhi Police. They have filed
a case against us and we are standing firm and fighting against them because we
are honest, so they want to prove me to be dishonest, they want to prove me to
be dishonest, they are throwing mud at me and defaming me.
They abuse me
morning and evening but BJP is not important for me. You all are important for
me. If the people of the country and the people of Delhi feel that Kejriwal is
dishonest, I will not sit on the CM's chair even for a minute. I will not sit
on the CM's chair even for a minute. I am not ready to. I have not earned
anything in my life.
My bank account
is empty. Our party's bank account is empty. I have not earned anything in my
life. I have got nothing except my respect and my honesty. I used to work as
Commissioner in Income Tax in 2000. After leaving my job, I spent 10 years from
2000 to 2010 in the slums of Delhi. I went to live in the slums of Delhi for a
few months.
I lived inside
the slums of Nand Nagari and Sunder Nagari. I searched in every nook and corner
to see how a poor man lives. How does his family survive? If you want to earn
money, then the job of Income Tax Commissioner was not bad and when I left the
job, there was no party, nothing, it was not that at that time I was going to
become the Chief Minister or some party or something.
There was no
future, there was only passion for the country, I had to do something for the
country, I came to do something for the country, I resigned after 49 days of
government, I resigned for my principles, no one asked for my resignation, I
resigned on my own. Kejriwal said that till the people of Delhi do not approve
him by voting, they will not approve his honesty.
He will not
accept any post. He did not ask for acquittal as proof of honesty. He did not
ask for acquittal from the court. He did not say that if he is acquitted from
the case, he will become the Chief Minister. Rather, he said that he will
become the Chief Minister only after being acquitted in the public court.
Kejriwal It has
been made clear that now this fight will not be fought in the court but among
the public in the elections. Pawan Kheda of Congress, who held four press
conferences on SEBI Chief Madhavi Buj, was also asked why do n't you go to the
court with all these documents. Pawan Kheda said.
We are not a law
firm, we are not an NGO, we are a political party. See, even the media does not
investigate these allegations, does not do investigative journalism on its own
behalf and is asking the party that if you are making allegations then why are
you not going to the court. Pawan Kheda talked about fighting the battle in the
court. Listen carefully to many decisions of the Supreme Court.
We have told
many times in our videos that the court is repeatedly saying that in the matter
of granting bail, the High Court and the trial court are responsible for the
basic principles of justice. Keep in mind the principles and jail them. The
opposition has realized that the answer to the politics of keeping them in jail
for a long time will now have to be given among the public.
BJP wants to
drag the opposition into the battle of the courts. It wants to keep the leaders
in jail. The opposition is fighting its own battle. Wants to take the
opposition to public court, the biggest challenge at this time is the creation
of opposition and its survival. Arvind Kejriwal has at least accepted this big
challenge by resigning
